It has been confirmed that there is a 36-year-old male who travelled with his wife to Italy and they were part of a group of 10 people who arrived back in South Africa on the 1st of March 2020 and he was tested positive with COVID-19 Corona virus.

The patient had symptoms such as fever, headache, malaise, a sore throat and a cough and later consulted a doctor and he was tested and later they discovered it was corona virus. The couple is from Kwa Zulu Natal and have two children.

The virus spread when the droplets get into your nose, eyes and mouth when an infected person sneeze. Keeping your distance when a person sneeze will keep you safe from the large droplets. Sometimes a sick person saliva can get on other things, so it’s better if you wash your objects before you use them as the virus last up to 24 hours on objects.
